INSTRUCTOR LIBA LABIK

Liba grew up in the the Czech Republic with a background career as an environmentalist working for the National Park Podyji in Znojmo (South Moravian region).  After immigrating to Canada, Liba graduated from ACAD (Alberta Universitry of the Arts) and  established Liba Art Studio - working as an instructor and  freelance artist.
 

She has participated in several juried group shows and her work has been represented by Westlands Art Gallery, Arts on Atlantic, and Ruberto Ostberg .  She is a member of the International Encaustic Artists, Alberta Society of Artists, and Federation of Canadian Artists. 

Her work  explores the themes of spirituality, humanity, and nature.

WORK ON YOUR OWN PROJECTS

Fridays | 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
FAMILIES WELCOME | AGE 7+
5 class sessions

These classes are designed for all ages, levels, and interests. Families are welcome! Students can learn how to draw or paint, or they can focus on perfecting their existing skills. Participants may work on their own projects under the intructor's guidance, or they can choose from pojects and themes provided by the instructor. Demonstrations and friendly critiques will be included. 

 

Variety of mediums and techniques the instructor teaches can include Charcoal, Pencil, Graphite & Ink, Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor, Pastels, Mixed Media, and Collage.
