INSTRUCTOR MARCIA HARRIS
Marcia Harris graduated in 2004 with distinction from University of British Columbia Okanagan Fine Arts, majoring in painting, with a minor in drawing, screen-printing and photography. Harris has shown extensively across Western Canada, with major exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Calgary, The Kelowna Art Gallery and a selection of fine art galleries in Alberta and BC. Her work can be found in the permanent collection of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and private and corporate collections across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Her work is represented by Elevation Gallery in Canmore.

Suitable for Beginners or Intermediates
Self-guided studio class with instructor guidance
Students will learn drawing and/or painting techniques depending on their interests. Working from photo references or still life students are free to choose their own subject matter (still life, landscape, portrait) under the guidance of the instructor.
Learn about proportions, tonal values, and color mixing - Help take your drawing or painting to the next level!
Unsure where to start? The instructor can provide you with a project to get started on.
Please note Oil painters will be working with solvent-free mediums while in studio.
