About The Event
Acrylic Painting (Fairy Meadow) - Adults 17+
Fridays 6-7:30pm
These project-oriented painting courses are perfect for beginner artists looking to commit to a longer painting project and explore new techniques. In each four-week session, students will complete a whimsical acrylic painting on canvas or birch panel. Materials will be provided and the projects are structured, but flexible enough to allow students to each end up with a unique painting. Ideal for students who are relatively new to acrylic, or who have done some painting in the past but would like to learn how to bring a painting from sketch to completion.
Week 1 - Sketch & Underpainting
Week 2 - Flat colors
Week 3 - Rendering
Week 4 - Lighting and details
