From stretcher bars to canvas, learn the basics and tools you need to make your own support!
Watch as artist and instructor Verna Vogel builds a canvas frame. Learn the tools and techniques that will help you get the proper tension to create a great painting surface!
This Demo will be lecture-style and not hands-on. You will watch the instructor work as she explains the process.
There will be two, one hour sessions. Each session will be made up of a 45 minute demo and 15 minutes for Q&A.
*Please note that canvases or supplies are not included.
We recommend bringing a sketchbook and a writing utensil to take notes.
